Bo Jin and Lessa Grunenfelder, center affiliated faculty, have been honored as finalists in the SAMPE 2020 Young Professionals Emerging Leadership Award. Bo, Lessa, and the other finalists “have set a high standard for innovation and creativity in advancing material and process engineering,” said Jerome Berg, Executive Vice President of SAMPE. “This award is a testament to the skill, dedication, and professionalism of its creators.”
Due to the cancellation of SAMPE 2020 in Seattle, WA, the award finalists will be recognized via an online awards ceremony, which is currently planned for early November. The finalists will be formally recognized at SAMPE 2021 in Long Beach, CA, where the finalists for both 2020 and 2021 will be recognized during an in-person event which will be announced at a later date. In addition, the 2020 and 2021 “Young Professional of the Year” winners will be announced.
