Lessa Grunenfelder, a senior lecturer in the Mork Family Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, received the New Materials Educator award at the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) 2020 virtual conference. The award recognizes outstanding achievement in materials science and engineering education by early-career professionals. In particular, Dr. Grunenfelder’s nomination reviewers commented on her commitment to active learning pedagogies and work to disseminate the results of her educational efforts.
