Bill Edwards and Dan Zebrine win University Research Symposium at SAMPE 2018 Long Beach

Ph.D. students Bill Edwards and Dan Zebrine win 2nd and honorable mention respectively at the University Research Symposium at the SAMPE 2018 conference in Long Beach.  Bill’s work titled “Out-of-Autoclave Prepreg Formats for Defect Control and Robust Processing” discussed advances in unidirectional prepreg technology employing USCpreg developed at the M.C. Gill Composites Center.  Dan’s paper titled “Adhesive Bond-line Formation During Co-cure of Honeycomb Sandwich Structures” discussed the factors that go into the formation of bond-lines in co-cured sandwich structures.
